Responsibilities

As a Solutions Engineer, you’ll be the architect of our technical engine, designing and building workflows that drive our agency and clients forward. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing complex, scalable automation solutions within our advanced tech stack.
  • Translating data requirements into technical specifications in collaboration with Data & AI Engineers.
  • Setting up technical architectures, leveraging databases (e.g., Airtable) as flexible backends for workflows.
  • Building integrations via REST APIs and implementing the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to securely connect AI models with data sources.
  • Writing scripts (JavaScript/Python) to automate data actions and enhance workflow intelligence.
  • Ensuring robust error handling and maintaining technical standards.
  • Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing workflows for stability and performance.

Qualifications

We’re looking for a builder with a passion for connecting systems and creating seamless workflows. You’re a problem-solver who thrives on technical challenges and is eager to explore the potential of AI and automation. Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Development Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript or Python, with experience in JSON for data parsing.
  • Integration Expertise: Hands-on experience with REST APIs, Webhooks, and familiarity with modern data protocols like MCP.
  • System Architecture: Experience using database environments (e.g., Airtable, SQL) as backends for workflows, including automations, triggers, and API integrations.
  • Workflow Tools: Familiarity with automation platforms like n8n, Gumloop, or Make.
  • Error Handling & Monitoring: Proven ability to implement robust error handling and monitor production workflows.
  • Security Awareness: Knowledge of secure API integration, credential management, and data protection.
  • Documentation: Strong skills in documenting technical structures and best practices.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in a relevant role such as Developer, Integration Engineer, or Solutions Engineer.

Day-to-Day

Your day will be a mix of hands-on development and strategic collaboration:

  • Spend 70% of your time coding, implementing integrations, configuring workflows, and solving technical challenges.
  • Dedicate 30% of your time to designing solutions, documenting processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams like UX Designers, Ad Tech Specialists, and MediaCommerce Consultants.
  • Work in a fast-paced, agency environment where no two days are the same, tackling projects that range from automating complex media processes to scaling creative content.
